2021-03-05 13:20:04 "ATTEMPTED TERROR ATTACK" ON A JEWISH SCHOOL IN MARSEILLE

A man armed with a knife has just been arrested near a Jewish school in Marseille.

He had "suspicious behaviour" and was in possession of a knife.

The security guards say they were about to commit an attack on the school or the nearby kosher grocery shop.

The authorities announced a strengthening of measures to protect Jews living in France. The VIGIPIRATE plan is already in place since 2015, to have the synagogues protected by the French army.
