An Israeli hospital has developed a new cancer treatment called CAR-T cell therapy, which has shown remarkable success in treating an incurable type of cancer called multiple myeloma!
In a study conducted at Hadassah University Medical Center, 90% of the 74 patients who received the experimental treatment achieved remission. CAR-T cell therapy utilizes the patient's own immune system to target and destroy cancer cells, and it has the potential to revolutionize cancer treatment.
The treatment is expected to become available in the
United States within a year, following clinical trials and FDA approval.
