Chapter 4 Summary:
Picazio telephoned Holmseth and began a series of consensual interviews. He observed that Picazio's personality type seemed to be very similar to that of Staubs. Picazio told Holmseth that Staubs was violating his contract with Crystal Sheffield by making disparaging remarks about her to the media. Staubs insisted that his only client was Crystal Sheffield's father; Johnny Marcus Sheffield. Holmseth believed the behavior being exhibited by many of the people and agencies searching for HaLeigh Cummings appeared very odd. Something was going on that had parties threatening each other in all directions with professional ruination. On June 2, 2009, he wrote an exposé he hoped would bring about a further deterioration of the relationships and effectively lead to more information about the missing child, HaLeigh Cummings.
