Google releases Chrome 100th Anniversary Edition Google has unveiled a landmark update to its signature browser. The stable version of Chrome 100 is now available for all supported Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android platforms, almost 14 years after its original release in September 2008. A new logo becomes available in Chrome 100, changing for the first time in 8 years - the last change was made in 2014.
The logo has become even more "flat" and minimalistic.
Compared to the 2014 version, barely noticeable shadows have been removed, which is more in line with the app icons of other Google services.
