French court fines Google €2 million for unfair practices against app developers

A French court fined Google €2 million for unfair practices against app developers - unilaterally changing and terminating contracts, BloombergQuint reported Tuesday.

In addition, the court ordered Google to change seven provisions of its contracts with developers, including a provision charging them a 30 percent commission on sales through the Google Play Store app store. The decision applies to contracts signed with app creators in 2015 and 2016.
