Citizens of Russia and Belarus banned from participating in Google Summer of Code programming contest

Google has banned citizens of Russia and Belarus from participating in the Google Summer of Code (GSoC) Programming Contest in 2022, according to the FAQs section of the contest website.

The U.S. company will not accept entries from participants, mentors, or administrators from Russia and Belarus "due to current circumstances”.
