Google blocked more than a million viruses from entering its app store AND deleted accounts of rogue developersGoogle said it was able to block more than a million mobile viruses targeting the Play Store.The company claimed that
the app store's automated anti-virus algorithms blocked 1.2 million viruses from accessing the service to infect mobile devices. This avoided billions of installations of viruses on smartphones.
Google also deleted 190,000 accounts of compromised developers and 500,000 inactive and abandoned accounts.
