A bite of Entoto to Yaya village hiking, a delicate refreshment just along the edge of our city.
From the morning meet up chitchat @ Bole (Sunbird Cafe), through the lunch resting spot where we escaped into nature of Entoto mountain, to our destination @ Yaya village in Sululta; our day long hike was a subtle experience.
Unplugged from the daily routine, we departed Bole at 8:20 am and arrived at Eyesus Gedam (around French Embassy) at 3:00 am. Having had a mini briefing, we geared up to reconnect with nature in the east. The hike took us over the mountain that has jagged peaks, pristine creeks, and open meadows with certain views of the city. After hiking 10kms, we rested for lunch at 6:50pm in the forests of Entoto.
