The four men were arrested in a nearly inaccessible part of the island after their sailboat was spotted in the island. The men are part of a smuggling gang from Turkey who specializes in transporting illegal immigrants from Turkey to Italy
The total of 91 foreigners (men) of various nationalities were identified, of whom 39 were minors, as well as four men aged 34, 22, 20 and 44 who were operating the ship and were the smugglers
