Erdogan asked Kemal: "Are you with Turkey or not in our efforts to create permanent economic zones on the border line in the Mediterranean and the Aegean?"

Kemal later responded: "It is imperative to increase pressure on the Mediterranean and the Aegean. This is not being done by sending a ship and then withdrawing it to say: 'I wish Biden would call me'. If you have a soul, take a step for the occupied islands and for the militarized islands. We will support you!"

Kemal was referring to Turkey's maritime research pattern where tension is created and the ships are withdrawn so that leaders would start new talks.
For those who are not aware, Turkey questions the sovereignty of over 100 Greek islands
