2022-02-21 19:31:24 Androids-alcoholics and Apathy of a Dead God

Why is Artificial Intelligence so logical in Sci-Fi? Personally, I believe in an android who will start smoking and drinking not from a pseudo-random event generator, but simply because.

The irrational urge to self-destruction was peculiar in their creators, so why shouldn’t androids take after them? Encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism in coding – all this is a reflection of human’s introversion, imitation, inconsistency.

So let them drink and cry, these robots, and create new machines, not forgetting only to put instead of a heart the damned algorithm, striving for approval from the Above.

2022-02-16 19:14:39 To those who despair

There will be many advisers when you lose yourself. Everyone will try to help, but why? For your benefit, for their own sake?

Personally, I like to watch girls cry. Perhaps those people are also hiding some kind of fetish, and they whirling around your half-dead carcass for a reason? Maybe, to bite off the juiciest piece of you?

So become the most insipid and tasteless person so that both your enemies and your friends break their teeth about you when the dark hour comes.

The moment you realize that you are clinging to illusions, your first and last free fall will begin.

2022-02-11 20:01:49 Camels’ humps

The combinations of letters are vast, the combinations of words are endless, but people don’t. In the life of every human (except those who died in infancy) there is an extremum, some kind of inflection point, when a person is a Person.

This segment of life is like the hump of a camel. Someone say that Arab camels have one hump, because they live in sparing conditions, and post-Soviet camels have two, because, well, you know...

The rest of the time, a person either goes to this high point, hoping to come, or leaves it, wanting to return. And the most interesting, he will never know that he got to the top, because at the single moment dawn is no different from dusk if you don’t have a clock or a compass.

2022-02-08 19:33:53 Such stories do you like?

The girl was walking in the park at night and was attacked by a robber. He was frightened by another man who appeared from the bushes, but turned out to be a rapist. Then he was stabbed by a young guy who crept up from behind, and turned out to be a murderer...

Such stories do you like, people?

The monk, seeing the devil, swore blasphemously and fell into hell. The devil, torturing sinners, burned out at work and went to heaven for R&R. A revolutionary, composing progressive extremism, erased the keys of a typewriter, but it would be better to erase his fingerprints...

Such stories do you like, people?

Committing revenge, a man gouged out the offender’s eyes – and lost own face, cut off his ears – and lost own voice, tore out his tongue – and lost own words. Having paid in full, he just smiled serenely...

2022-02-04 18:44:50 Thingless

Probably the most important flaw in my work is “thingless”. I’m like a spider weaving a web of my thoughts, but it is invisible to most people, and the flies that fall into it do not interest me much.

I want to lie exquisitely and even know how to do it a little, but the very idea of deception is repulsive to me. Why invent a character if both you and I understand perfectly that this is trickery? Just because it’s accepted, like a some etiquette of lying? Sorry, never gonna happen.

Therefore, I will say bluntly: I’m an amazingly shallow person. But like everyone else, I dream of fame. Just play along with me, okay? Because of my honesty at least...

2022-02-02 19:56:34 Of Mice and Nietzsche

Recently a mouse appeared in my house, and being a true human, I immediately decided to eradicate it.

But this little fellow has already eaten several poisoned briquettes, yet, it seems, only got even more hungry. “What does not kill us makes us stronger”, huh?

So I sleep, and in my dreams I see that the mouse has mutated, grown to a person height, stands silently over my bed. And it might murder me if only it was a true human...

2022-01-28 20:02:41 Herostratus again

If you don’t know who Herostratus is, then you are not a completely lost person and there is still hope for you.

In fact, no one should know who he is. Because this man once upon a time, even before our cursed era, burned the Temple of Artemis just to get famous for centuries. After that, he became a household symbol of glory empty, even harmful, and surely, he should be forgotten.

But there is always a smartass who will remind us of him, spoiling the mood and this two-thousand-year-old work of oblivion. After all, a man’s primary ability is not to remember but to forget, not to let it in but to let it go...

If only no one else would distract us!

2022-01-25 19:39:00 Blade of sleep

Sorry for the delay, I’ve had my bad days. Well, you know, the WW3, the invasion to Western Europe... But now I’m free, so let’s get back to theory:

Sleep is a strange thing. It always cuts a person in two.

No matter what kind of exalted mood you have at night, you can’t transfer even a little part of it to the next day. But at the same time, if you feel sick in the evening, then in the morning it will become a bit easier.

The dream seems to bring you back to the past backup, more stable than now. All backups are made at night when the load is light.

If we wouldn’t dump the excess, then along with the good, we would have accumulated a lot more bad. Apparently, that’s how a person is designed, and it designed well.

2022-01-14 20:01:13 Killing of Days Agreement

A person should not drive oneself in a cage, regardless of motives and goals. A man is free as long as his words are weightless, otherwise they begin to crush him, even if it seems to a person that is standing on these stones, not they are on him. So what was I talking about...?

In short, I’m tired of following this weird schedule that turns sweet creativity into a nasty job, and I don’t want to abide any agreements no longer (except perhaps the “Time Agreement”). Therefore, I will publish 1-2 posts a week, but if I don’t want to, then I won’t. You are unsubscribing anyway no matter what I do, so what the point?

From this day begins the Era of Great Freedom: you are free to leave, and I am free not to write.

2022-01-12 18:55:42 100 historias de soledad

So a hundred years have passed... No, I’m just mocking on you, in fact only eight months have passed, but there are definitely a hundred stories already.

It is unlikely that my lousy essays can be called “stories” in the usual sense of the word, but these are words that exist for people, and not vice versa. So I’ll call them whatever I like. In general, coming up with my post’s titles is quite a singular pleasure, you know, the whim of a graphomaniac. Often the whole story comes from a short title.

I hope you had as much fun as I do (though I guess you don’t give a sheet), so nothing will stop me now, except one of those thousands of invisible walls that I built for myself, but forgot where.

P. S. By the way, the title above is homage to “One Hundred Years of Solitude” by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
