Grm Official (formerly Gram) is the founder-run channel for a proof-of-work jetton on TON, written mostly in the first person by the project's developer rather than as a team account. The most recent post explains a rename from Gram/GRAM to Grm/GRM after Telegram received a DSA trademark complaint from the owner of the GRAM trademark — the announcement is specific that only the public name changes, with the contract, supply, holder balances and history staying untouched, and no token migration, fork or swap involved.
Earlier posts trace the project's actual history: a PoW mining phase that the founder voluntarily ended in September 2024, burning roughly 2.52 billion GRAM ($8.5M) and citing a resulting market cap drop from $18.4M to $9.12M; a side project, Gram DNS, selling .gram domain auctions with proceeds burned; exchange listings on Bitget, MEXC, EXMO and CoinMarketCap; and liquidity-provider incentive rounds on STON.fi tied to the TON Foundation's Open League program. A June 2025 post claims Gram is the most decentralized TON token by liquidity-provider count, citing STON.fi figures (12,838 LPs on GRAM/TON versus a few thousand at most for the next largest pairs) — a self-reported comparison with no independent source given.
Activity is sparse and getting sparser: after a cluster of posts around the March–April 2024 launch, the channel drops to about one post per quarter, and the sampled history shows nothing between the May 2026 rename notice and today.
Good: the founder is unusually transparent about mechanics — a burn transaction hash, exact burned amounts, and a plain explanation of why a legally forced rename does not affect the token itself.
Missing: no independent verification of the decentralization or liquidity claims, no regular market commentary, and long silences between updates that make this unsuitable as a source of current information on the token.
Useful for existing GRM/Gram holders tracking project milestones and the recent rename directly from the founder. Not a fit for anyone wanting frequent updates or independent analysis of the token.
