The first GCC Accreditation Center Accredited Halal certification body established in Ethiopia
Eatsafe certification is a halal certification body in Ethiopia with accreditation from the GAC and is registered with ESMA (Emirates Standardization and Metrology Authority).
Eatsafe considered the unused rank of Ethiopia as the first in Africa and the fifth in the world with number of live animals (goats, sheep, and cows).
As Ethiopia is nearer to the Gulf countries geographically, there shall be a huge opportunity for Ethiopia to export halal certified processed agricultural products.
Currently, Eatsafe certification is implementing the halal standards (GSO standards mainly), in certifying slaughterhouses, caterers and retailers. As a result, safeguarding the spiritual tranquility and safety of products is being realized.
Eatsafe certification is finalizing additional recognition from other accreditors with different standards and making registrations in standardization body of all GCC countries.
