5. Inflicting serious economic blows to Iran by destroying its oil rigs in the Persian Gulf.
6. Offering political and propaganda support for Iraq's stances on the war.
7. Imposing arms embargo on Iran.
8. Showing a green light to Iraq to use chemical agents to kill 5,000 people in the Kurdish town of Halabja, attack on Faw as well as operations to take back Shalamcheh and Majnoom Islands.
