The channel's own bio still frames itself around HashCats, a play-to-earn crypto-cat mining game, but virtually every post here is about an entirely different project, TeraHash, a protocol that tokenizes Bitcoin hashrate into two tokens. There's no post in the record explaining or acknowledging this shift — subscribers arrive expecting cat-themed mining and instead find a stream of DeFi tokenomics content for an unrelated hashrate-and-staking system.
A large share of the posts are formulaic concept explainers, all built to the same template: name a problem in decentralized finance, such as arbitrary token supply or unverifiable yield claims, describe how tokenized hashrate solves it, and close with a restated value proposition. The titles follow an identical pattern across nearly a dozen posts, and the writing leans heavily on buzzwords like "programmable collateral" and "self-regulating supply mechanism" without much a reader could act on directly — no price, no specific figures to verify, no external source cited.
Genuine operational content does appear alongside the explainers: an open community call with a named co-founder covering recent conference appearances and roadmap questions, a first-person dispatch posted live from a major tech conference, and a limited-time staking bonus campaign with real mechanics — a form-based pre-commitment, a defined submission window, and a bonus calculated only off the smaller of a declared or actual staked amount, closing the loophole for anyone tempted to overstate their intent. The most recent post in the record is a pause notice: staking-code publication is being suspended "to focus on upcoming updates," with no return date given.
Given the disconnect between the channel's branding and its content, and the shift from concrete promotional mechanics to a long run of templated tokenomics essays followed by an open-ended pause, this reads as a project mid-transition rather than a stable, ongoing feed. It may serve someone already holding the project's tokens who wants community-call recaps and staking-bonus terms, but the HashCats branding in the channel's own description no longer matches anything posted here, and a newcomer clicking through on that premise will find something completely different.
