Mum-Zi was just eight years and four months old when she gave birth to a baby girl in 1884 in Nigeria.
Mum-Zi's daughter also gave birth extremely early, making Mum-Zi a grandmother at age 17.
Zi, Mum-Zi's daughter, became a mother at the age of 8 years 8 months. An 8-year-old-girl gave birth to a healthy baby boy, who was fathered by a 9-year-old. They are the youngest recorded parents, in combined age.
