We are looking for an outstanding Mobile App Tech Lead to provide technical leadership for the development of mobile app. This is a hands-on, tech-lead role in which you will develop, enhance, and maintain our iOS and Android mobile apps that bring comprehensive, modern functionality to our rapidly growing investor community.
You will work in close collaboration with our business, product, and technical leadership teams to continue building and enhancing the mobile app to support the business goals and deliver a first-class user experience.
Our ideal candidate is a senior hands-on technology leader with a passion for creating great products, loves getting things done, and is a collaborative team player.
Responsibilities
— Provide technical leadership to the development team in developing new features that drive mobile app engagement
— Lead feature design and guide team members in best practice implementation
— Participate in client and server-side development along with team members to support the goals of the mobile app
— Ensure app provides superior user experience and performance
— Manage ongoing maintenance to ensure smooth functionality
— Participate in the planning process and provide estimations on the feasibility and complexity of new products/features
— Collaborate with other engineering leaders to maintain alignment of design and architecture
— Review code written by team members to ensure high-quality code
We expect
— 8+ years of experience as a mobile app developer
— BSc or higher in Computer Science or related
— Deep hands-on experience in React Native development
— Strong understanding of the mobile development life cycle, technologies, and architecture for both iOS and Android Platforms
— Firm grasp of JavaScript
— Web development using React and Node.js a plus
— In-depth of understanding service layers in the backend to support rich front-end development using modern architecture paradigms
— Familiarity with the Firebase platform
— Experience working with local and remote team members a plus
— Strong leadership and organizational skills
— A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
— Fluent in written and spoken English
