Small has grown up: Jake Gyllenhaal was admired by Robert Downey Jr. on the set of David Fincher's Zodiac

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the actor discussed his career, touching on collaborations with the famed actors. What Jake remembers most was Fincher's Detective, in which he first met Robert Downey Jr., then still head over heels in cartoons.

"Sometimes I caught myself thinking I was sitting in awe of the actors I was working with, just watching them. Then I was lucky enough to get the role from Fincher, because it allowed me to see not only Downey extraordinaire, but also to learn a lot about filmmaking," Gyllenhaal concluded.
