Article: With AUKUS, India must keep its head above water.

AUKUS (New group ing of Australia, US and Japan) is no threat to India but depending on China's response, can become one.
US allowed SSN (Nuclear powered attack sunkar inse)
Announcement of AUKUS thought future from China.
Reason for India not being in AUKUS: India (already part of Quad) does not engage itself in military exercise because India has land boundary with China (India's involvement in military exchanges may send wrong signals to China). These groupings formed to counter China's activity in South and East China sea.
Quad is a grouping which does not directly oppose China as a threat.
AUKUS for now is a high-end military trade.
Reasoning: US preparing China for greater military role in Indo-pacific.
Afghanistan has show no interest in AUKUS.

Recommendation by writer: India should keep its developmental interest while working with AUKUS and countries associated with it so that it does not deteriorate relations with China.
