Iceberg | SOL MEMECOIN — Telegram Channel

When a Telegram channel with nearly 800,000 subscribers goes completely silent, it tells you everything you need to know. Iceberg | SOL MEMECOIN was built around a Solana-based memecoin called $ICEBERG, branded with an environmental twist — "Let's stop the global warming together" — a slogan that aged about as well as the token itself.

The channel's entire lifespan played out in a matter of days in August 2024. A presale launched, complete with countdown posts, milestone announcements ("$20,000 raised in less than a minute!"), and vague claims about celebrities discussing the project. Tokens were distributed to presale participants via Raydium, and then — silence. The last substantive post was in August 2024, and since then, the only activity has been automated Telegram system warnings notifying users that the channel owner has been inactive for over 17 months and is at risk of losing admin rights.

What makes this channel particularly telling is a candid post the admins published in Russian just before the presale closed. In plain terms, they admitted the presale had underperformed, that they personally were "deeply in the red," and that they genuinely did not see a realistic path to profit for anyone involved — while still promising to follow through on the listing. It is a rare moment of honesty in a space where rug pulls happen without a word of explanation. The token did get listed on Raydium, which technically distinguishes this from an outright exit scam, but the outcome for investors was almost certainly the same: a token with no development, no community management, and no future.

The subscriber count of over 790,000 is almost certainly inflated through aggressive promotion or purchased followers — a common tactic in the Solana memecoin ecosystem during the 2024 bull cycle, when dozens of similar projects launched weekly, each promising outsized returns and community-driven momentum. The actual engaged audience was almost certainly a fraction of that figure.

There is nothing here worth subscribing to. The channel is effectively a digital ghost town — the posts remain accessible, but they serve only as a cautionary archive. No updates, no roadmap, no team presence, no trading activity worth noting. The environmental branding was a thin aesthetic layer over what was, at best, a poorly executed speculative launch and, at worst, a deliberate pump-and-distribute scheme.

If you stumble across this channel while researching Solana memecoins, treat it as a case study rather than an opportunity. It illustrates precisely how quickly these projects collapse when there is no underlying utility, no committed team, and no plan beyond the initial token sale. Avoid, and move on.
