Hello Soldiers of the Universe, I decided to share with yo | 🗣IELTS- SOLDIERS💪🏻

Hello Soldiers of the Universe,

I decided to share with you the list of Units from Vocab for IELTS book that were transformative to my writing and then to my speaking

There were some topics I was dread about and was constantly hijacked by thoughts like “What if I am asked about this or that awful topic?”

Now looking back, I understand these all were down to lack of knowledge
In other words, this is whatever we don’t know how to figure out yet that causes stress to us. But anyways, the collocations and academic words related to the topics as such Pollution, Crime, Media, Globalization have been a complete game- changer

Disclaimer: I would highly recommend you to go over all 20 Units though

Here they are:

1) Unit 9 (if you feel you lack vocab related to “your fav animal” , “wild animal you like” and the like)

2) Unit 12 ( IT related vocab , for me it was very useful to prepare for part 2 topics like “your fav gadget”, “smth you use everyday”, “website you like”)

3) Unit 13 (back then globalization wasn’t very commonly appearing topic and I did find this Unit very helpful for ideas and specific vocab if I was to be asked to write or talk about Globalization, also discovered a nice vocab “global village” for the first time then

4) Unit 14 ( Urbanization theme and all the topics related to its generic problems, trust me you will feel like a rock star about this theme-Urbanization after completion)

5) Units 15-16 Green Revolution and Energy Crisis (oh how much I prayed for not having a topic to do with pollution and etc, hardly did I know back then that these Units were such gems, I think you will just need to take my word on these Units and do them as a first thing even if you have your exam tomorrow )

6) Unit 18 ( this topic is about Crime, you will be equipped with all the mini minor details about crime topic its types, solutions and etc. Also, I can’t help mentioning the case with one of my students who couldn’t write a word to Task 2 as he didn’t know what “Juvenile Delinquency” stood for )

7) Unit 19 (I didn’t give that much importance to this Unit then, but I had Media related topic as my Task 2. You know guys, Media topic has got to be most commonly appearing topic in IELTS)

Now, that you have a sort of a short-cut to cut corners, I am sure you can walk in your exam room like Conor McGregor enters ring and rock your exam
