Some of my favourite idioms:

1. Right away - immediately
• When my neighbor realized her house was on fire, she called the fire department right away.

2. To hold a grudge against smb - to stay angry with smb about a past offense
• Ann still holds a grudge against her brother for not bringing her flowers on the 8th of March

3. No wonder - it's not surprising
• No wonder the patient has a stomachache! He ate too much spicy food yesterday.

4. To treat smb like dirt - to behave in a nasty way towards smb
• That shy kid has seen lots of bullying at school. His classmates treat him like dirt.

5. Out of the question - impossible
• For poor citizens, private medical care is simply out of the question.
