2024-05-09 12:04:03 The final story

I went to university in Kyrgyzstan and studied six days a week. I would spend most afternoons in the library or at work. Then I would go out with friends every night. I used to be full of energy.

Please write your story in the comments using the past simple, would and used to

This advice is spot on! So often (with IELTS or anything else) we get into the habit of just watching tons of content: YouTube, podcasts, articles, books... This passive watching is not very helpful.

I'm guilty of it too with all the business/healthy living content I consume

What really works is watching the content slowly and deliberately. Take notes and once you learn a couple of new things, go and apply them in practice This way is so much better!
