Likewise, people are so hung up on one's IELTS score. They see it as a seemingly good rule of thumb to judge how intelligent somebody is which is absurd.

Please, stop elevating those who have an 8.5 in IELTS or 1550 in SAT to a god-like status. They are the same as you; the only difference is that they possess this piece of paper to show off
