The table compares the proportion of women who participated in senior management positions in three
companies from 1975 to 2015.

Overall, Eldan It and Bamforth Itd experienced steady growths in the proportion of female senior
managers over the period in question, with the former letting more women easily climb up the career ladder. Another interesting point is that Finsbury Itd was the only company which saw a fluctuation in figures, despite giving highest percentage of women the chance of working in senior management positions in the beginning of the period.

In 1975, only 3% of women worked as senior managers in Eldan Idt, and this proportion remained unchanged in 1980 before increasing noticeably to 14% in1985. This growth was more substantial compared to that of Bamforth Itd, which increased slightly from 9% to 13% during the same period. Over the next 20 years, the proportion of women in senior management positions in Eldan Id continued rising dramatically, rocketing to 64% in 2015. From 1985 to 2000, despite rising slowly by 2% every five years, the figure for Bamforth almost tripled in 2015, hitting 46% trademark.

In terms of Finsbury Itd, it had the highest percentage of women who worked in senior management, at
16%. This figure dropped to 14% in 1980 before increasing gradually to 22% in 1990. Only 26% of total senior managers were female in 2015, the figure being comparatively lower than those of other companies.
