Sinopec is the largest hydrogen producer in China with a total capacity of 3.9 million tonnes per year, accounting for 11% of the country's total production.
Yesterday Sinopec announced plans to launch a new hydrogen fuel plant in late December.
The construction of the first stage of the plant with a capacity of 2,250 tons was completed in November, and after the completion of the construction of the second stage, the capacity will increase to 4,500 tons per year. Sinopec plans to reach this capacity by 2030.
