بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد

6. Supplicate for yourself:

Aaishah رضي الله عنها said to her nephew: “You supplicating for yourself is better than some storyteller supplicating for you.”

On the authority of Abdullaah bin Abu Saaleh: Once Tawoos paid me a visit while I was sick and I said to him: O Abu Abdul-Rahmaan! Supplicate to Allaah for me. So he said: “You supplicate for yourself, for He (Allaah تعالى) responds (more quickly) to those who are in distress when they pray to Him.”
