Reminder to myself first: PART 1: The mistake which many | Ilm4all

Reminder to myself first:

PART 1:

The mistake which many people do: fluctuating in their Ibaadah; or abandoning Ibaadah in total, or being negligent or lazy once the afflictions have been removed.

{And when affliction touches man, he calls upon Us, whether lying on his side or sitting or standing; but when We remove from him his affliction, he continues [in disobedience] as if he had never called upon Us to [remove] an affliction that touched him. Thus is made pleasing to the transgressors that which they have been doing}
[Surah Yunus (10): 12]

He تعالى also said:

{But if We let him taste good (favor) after evil (poverty and harm) has touched him, he is sure to say: "Ills have departed from me." Surely, he is exultant, and boastful (ungrateful to Allaah).}
[Surah Hood (11):10]

PART 2:

We have been instructed to humble ourselves, and to show humility when Allaah تعالى removes our hardship, provides relive from our pain, and victory over our opponents. We have been instructed to strive more in our times of ease so that re are trained for Ibaadah during the difficult times.

{So when you have completed [your worldly duties], then stand up [for worship]. And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations.}
[Surah al-Sharh (94):7-8]

Tafseer Muyassar:
Meaning: ❝When you have completed your worldly tasks and are (now) free (and there is nothing to distract your heart), then strive hard in doing Ibaddah (worship). And turn towards your Lord (and invoke Him) with great hope in seeking what is with Him.❞

And when the help of Allaah comes, we should Glorify Allaah (by saying: Sub-haan Allaah), seek His Forgiveness and turn to Him in repentance, as Allaah تعالى commanded His Prophet ﷺ:

{When comes the Help of Allaah (to you, O Muhammad against your enemies) and the conquest (of Makkah), and you see that the people enter Allah's religion (Islam) in crowds, so, glorify the Praises of your Lord, and ask for His Forgiveness. Verily, He is the One Who accepts the repentance and forgives.}
[Surah al-Nasr (110):1-3]

PART 3:

We are not constant in our Duaa’. We fail to seek Allaah's help in our times of needs as we fail to thank Him in our times of ease.

Allaah’s Messenger ﷺ said: ❝Whoever would be pleased to have Allaah respond to him during hardship and disaster should make much Duaa’ in times of ease.❞
[Sunan al-Tirmidhee (3383) and graded as “Hasan” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]
