The simplest definition of al-Ikhlaas (sincerity):

بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد

Ataa Ibn al-Saa’ib said: It has reached me that Alee Ibn Abu Taalib رضي الله عنه said:
❝Righteous deeds are those for which you do not seek praises for yourself but for Allaah (alone).❞
