It's not absurd to say Pakistan might do cross border attacks, airstrikes/drone strikes in Afghanistan against TTP/BLA or maybe even formally ISKP militant hideouts. This can be with the formal approval of Taliban, or maybe not.

Seems like the recruitment which started last August has been successful, and now the attacks are increasing. The recruitment which originally focused on elements within Taliban, are now focused on Tajiks, Uzbeks, or loyalists to the ex afghan regime/NATO.
On a state level, any country who wants a leverage over taliban can be linked to supporting ISKP. From U.S (mostly does it through Pakistan), to Russia (through Tajikistan/Uzbekistan), or even a possibility of Iran. The Taliban so far is failing to constrain these attacks.
