I have an early 40’s patient who had a very serious TBI (traumatic brain injury) playing football 20 years ago in college- the type where you stay in the hospital. It left him with:
1. Numbness in both arms and legs
2. Trigeminal neuralgia / face pain
3. Heart rate / blood pressure spikes
4. Chronic bloating and IBS
5. Brain fog so bad he loses thoughts mid sentence
6. Daily Migraines
7. Loss of balance
8. Can’t walk without caned assistance
9. Weird pain all over his body
10. CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) with violent mood swings and aggression

After 20 years, the best neurologists, rehab specialists, and chiropractors in the country, and almost $1M spent on trying to resolve his issues —and it’s only gotten worse.

Came to see me on a referral from another football player with CTE - and after 4 “tourniquets” unlocked and removed thus far in ONE months time:
1. Numbness is arms and legs gone
2. Trigeminal neuralgia gone
3. heart rate and BP spikes not noticeable
4. Able to formulate full sentences and carry longer conversations
5. Migraines turned to small and infrequent dull headaches that moved to base of skull
6. Able to walk 20 minutes straight - unassisted on a treadmill
7. No longer requires his cane
8. Body pain has stopped
9. Emotional swings have slowed and more in control of state of mind
