I have a business in Poland, a small hotel. 3 years ago the gas provider offered me a contract for 2 year for 100zl per megawatt (21 euro).
I asked how much he could offer me for a 5 year contract. He said that these contracts were not very good because I would need to pay a fine to leave PLUS there was some added price for inflation. Still I asked for it and he offered me a 5 year deal (which ends ONLY in 12/2023) for 120 zlotys per megawatt. 25 FUCKING EURO.
Right now the CHEAPEST provider in the country is charging 1499zl per MW. 317 euros.
Meanwhile I am have my gas locked for 1 and a half year more for delicious 25 euro :))))
