Definition “unnamed sources”, used in the draft amendments to the Law on Media, made place for misunderstanding by professionals. The amendments don’t regard confidential media sources, and considering RA Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan’s comments, the definition “unnamed sources” will be replaced by “unidentified sources”. The authors of the draft, representing My Step faction, today during the meeting with Arman Tatoyan highlighted that the draft wouldn’t include any point or concept controversial to the freedom of speech.
