Russian troops in the town of Borodyanka destroyed a monument to the Holy Archangel Michael. The monument lost the cross, but held the sword.
The Archangel Michael is also depicted on the coat of arms of Kyiv. Very interesting symbolism - the saint held a sword to protect Ukrainians from genocide by Russians.
