The incident happened on the evening of June 19. Four FSB employees: Igor Yakubinsky, Sergey Privalov, D. A. Borodin and another employee, whose name has not been released, entered the cafe and found two contract soldiers, Sergey Obukhov and Igor Sudin, who were "idly spending time drinking alcoholic beverages". the report says.
The FSB officers reprimanded the contractors for drinking alcohol in military uniform and with weapons. In response, Obukhov "expressed his dissatisfaction", and then took out a pistol and shot at the floor. Pryvalov tried to grab the weapon from the hands of the contractor, then Sudin opened fire on the security forces with an AK-74, and they started shooting back, according to the investigators.
As a result, Obukhov, Pryvalov and Yakubinsky died on the spot.
