IP Manager at Nitto

Qualifications and skills:
• You have a master degree in the field of patent attorny, science, preferably in chemistry and/or a background in the chemical industry.
• You have several years of experience with working in or cooperating with International IP firms.
• You are familiar with International patent law.
• You have a strong will to succeed and to investigate thouroughly.
• You are fluent in English.

Responsibilities:
• As an Intellectual Property Manager you will contribute to Nitto’s business growth by conducting IP activities.
• You will be responsible to set-up and implement an IP strategy for each business area and project, in cooperation with our head office in Japan.
• You will be the link between our R&D department and the international Intellectual Property Law firms we work with.
• You will be in charge of Intellectual Property Patent filing and the follow up of IP litigation together with our legal department.
• Your home base will be Munich but occasionally you can travel to one of the other sites in the EMEA region.
• This position reports to the EMEA R&D Director.
