“A reader lives a thousand lives before they die"
To develop the spirit of reading among people in order to restore the luster of the paper book in the age of technology, the activities of the "I am Iraqi, I read" festival, the largest cultural phenomenon in its eighth edition, was launched in Abi Nawas Gardens in Baghdad. Baghdad is vibrant and readers flock to get the opportunity to acquire a free book in the largest cultural gathering held on the banks of the Tigris River. 30,000 free books were distributed .The festival included book signing activities for the most important recent publications of a number of poets, in addition to the corners of free drawing, playing and exhibitions of paintings, which came this year in the corner of the works of a martyr October demonstrations Safaa Al- Saray.
