It will be built on the slope of a volcano in the south of the country by issuing bitcoin bonds worth $10 billion. Bitcoin City will receive energy from the geothermal sources of the Conchagua volcano. They will also be used for mining cryptocurrencies.

The project and layouts of the megapolis were created by the architectural studio FR-EE.
