NASA presented Mars in VR on the Unreal Engine 5.
At the moment, only a realistic surface of the planet has been created — 400 km2, including the Jezero crater. The Martian cycle of day and night, rovers, gravity and weather changes have also been added.
But the rest: various scenarios for simulation, including dangerous ones, such as sandstorms or cave exploration, will be invented by the participants of the contest, which has already been launched before the end of July — its prize fund is $ 70,000.
