The next version of macOS may be called Mammoth
Apple may release a new version of macOS called Mammoth in 2022.
The company registered the Mammoth trademark for computer operating systems.
Copyright belongs to Yosemite Research LLC, which was previously used to register other trademarks for Apple. She will transfer the rights to Mammoth to Apple immediately after the official presentation of the system.
Yosemite Research LLC previously owned other macOS titles, including Yosemite and Monterey.
Mammoth probably refers to the Mammoth Lakes ski resort in the Sierra Mountains of California.
