Theme 2022 : “Remove laws that harm, create laws that empower”
Zero Discrimination Day 2021 is dedicated to taking action to end the inequalities surrounding income, sex, age, health status, occupation, disability, sexual orientation, drug use, gender identity, race, class, ethnicity and religion that continue to persist around the world.
The symbol of Zero Discrimination Day is a 'butterfly'.
Article 15 - Prohibition of discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth
The Civil Rights Act of 1964, which banned discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
