Good writing is staccato-like. It is composed of punchy and refreshing sentences that form a coherent sequence of ideas. It profoundly reverberates with the audience’s psyche.

Conversely, bad writing is like a swamp. The more you read it, the more you lose yourself in the litany of internal inconsistencies, terminological errors, and awkward analogies.

Unfortunately, our education system never taught us to write well, so we are left to our own literary devices, haphazardly acquired by preparing for international exams.

Undoubtedly, poor writing is one hell of a red flag for the admissions committee. It is the surest way to get rejected, and I want you to be aware of that.
