If you are thinking of getting chickens take a look at Carolina Coops vids. Coop I built is modeled after this (just not as nice lol). So much to learn from his vids about coops. Design is awesome w/ low maintenance. Only needs cleaning once every 2 years.

They sell pre-made kits of all sizes, but they all share quality design principles. Pretty cool someone made an entire cottage industry of building custom chicken coops & gives so much expert info out freely.
