Choosing to disobey God, & to ignore Him in pursuit of other loves, is a bad idea.

He withdraws His blessing, and things that you never thought would fall apart start to become the most destructive things in your life.

He is all powerful & sovereign, and seems to give people exactly what they want in a way that whatever is their idol becomes their master of destruction.

And, for those in Him, following Him & obeying Him includes the assurance that He keeps promises & will cant be defeated.
