Former US President Barack Obama has retained his position as the world’s most admired man in YouGov’s international survey this year, followed by entrepreneur Bill Gates and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, who came out as ninth, returned to the top 10 list of the word’s most admired men.
Obama’s wife Michelle has been leading the most admired women’s ranking for the third year running, while actress Angelina Jolie and Queen Elizabeth retained their second and third places.
