I left fb when they deplatformed a sitting President. I was appalled that such censorship was allowed. I first announced that I would be leaving and my reason so that any friends or even family could get in touch with email addresses etc. You would not believe the level of hate that was poured out upon me, hecklers, and just plain bullies. The day I deleted it, I felt like I could breath easier. I admit I miss seeing my great nieces/nephews photos. But, I have no desire to go back. Ever. I have found more time to do art, get out into nature, play pool with my husband, and learn new things, like Linux and freedom!
