આજ રોજ મતવિસ્તાર વડગામના ખેડૂત આગેવાનો, કોંગ્રેસ પાર્ટીના હોદ્દેદારો અને કાર્યકર્તાઓ સાથે મુક્તેશ્વર ડેમની મુલાકાત લીધી. મુક્તેશ્વર ડેમનું પાણી કોઈ અન્ય સરોવરમાં છોડવા કરતાં સરસ્વતી નદીમાં જ છોડવું જોઈએ એ માંગને લઇ એન્જિનિયરશ્રી સાથે રુબરુ ચર્ચા કરી. મુક્તેશ્વરનું પાણી છોડવાથી સરસ્વતી નદી કાંઠાના ગામડાઓમાં પાણીના તળ ઉંચા આવશે, કૂવા તથા બોર રીચાર્જ થશે અને ઉમરેચાનું ડેમ પણ ભરાશે જેથી ખેડૂતોને ખેતી કરવા માટે મોટી રાહત મળે.

Visited Mukteshwar Dam today with farmer leaders, Congress party office bearers and workers of Vadgam constituency. Discussed face to face with engineer on the demand that the water of Mukteshwar dam should be released in Saraswati river rather than in any other lake. Releasing the water of Mukteshwar will increase the water level in the villages of Saraswati river, wells and bore will be recharged and Umrecha dam will be filled so that farmers get big relief for farming.
