Strong Junior Data engineer

We are expanding our team and inviting a
Junior Data Engineer to participate in Big Data analytics projects.
You will use the latest technologies like Apache Airflow, Kafka, Spark, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.
What will you do:
- Build and maintain database/bigdata clusters;
- Build and maintain data ETLs/pipelines;
- Deploy code release in QA and PROD;
- Participate in building unit/performance/integration tests working with database developers;
- Participate in database SQL optimization plan;
- Deploy configuration and automation tools to remove manual steps in deploying, upgrading, and scaling systems and software across all environments;
- Participate in building dashboards for infrastructure management and reporting to meet uptime and monitor SLAs.
We’d be glad to hear from you if you have:
- At least 1 year of commercial Python and SQL development experience (internship time counts);
- Hands-on experience with requirements analysis, design, coding, and testing patterns;
- Strong theoretical background in Data Engineering basics;
- Experience working with cloud computing environments;
- Fluent English (both written and spoken);
- Intelligent, communicative team player personality, interested in and willing to learn new skills and technologies.
- And we will be glad if you have additional:
- Commercial experience in the data engineering field;
- Experience building data solutions using big data tools: Airflow, Spark, Kafka, AWS;
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools;
- Experience in engineering (commercial and open-source) software platforms and large-scale data infrastructures.
