Role: Recipe Research and Development Manager

Responsibilities:

· Leading the Product development research and innovation team in delivery of new products

· Creating menus and controlled food costs and overseeing food quality

· Developing strategic and creative new products for our restaurant concepts

· Developing clear and defined specifications for new and existing products.

· Working closely with our Operations and Marketing in communication of technical/recipe information, related to new product test programs





Requirements

· Degree in Hotel/Catering Management, Food Science and Technology

· Minimum of 3-4 years experience in a restaurant back of house setting, NPD experience in Hotel, Restaurant or QSR

· Strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

· Basic knowledge of food production and processing; thorough knowledge of food safety standards, HAACP, and Serve Safe Certification; basic culinary knowledge related to equipment and technical skills

· Must have thorough knowledge of food products, recipes and procedures writing, and food costing

· Understanding of restaurant equipment and services

· Keeping current with trends, consumer insights, and competitive restaurant/menu strategies
