JOB EXODUS? Record 4.3 million Americans quit in August
The Labor Dept. has reported the highest level of Americans quitting since December 2000, up from 4MN in July.
Hiring also slowed in August, while the number of jobs available fell to 10.4 million from a record high of 11.1 million the previous month.
The amount of workers resigning is considerably high within leisure and hospitality, but people are quitting their jobs across a whole range of industries, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported.
